Due to concerns over potential jailbreaks of the technology, the government had slapped Anthropic with an export control directive, disallowing any foreign national (including non-US members of enterprise client companies and even many of Anthropic’s own employees) from using either Mythos 5 or Fable 5, i.e., both the models that Anthropic had spent the last week hyping.
